HR Works is excited to recruit a Payroll Analyst for our Fairport, NY office.  Candidates based in the Rochester area are preferred, but we will consider individuals located within approximately 90 miles of the office, provided they’re willing to come onsite occasionally.

Position Overview:
The Payroll Analyst will manage day-to-day client relationships and process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Recommending compliance solutions and best practices
  • Assisting with new client implementations
  • Developing and maintaining process documentation
  • Serving as a subject matter expert within the team
  • Providing emergency backup payroll support as needed

The compensation range for this position is $26 - $32 per hour.   

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • Experience processing payroll in UKG is required
  • 2–5 years of payroll processing and HRIS experience, including working knowledge of ADP
  • Experience with Paylocity and Paychex is preferred
  • FPC and/or CPP certification preferred
  • HR Generalist experience and familiarity with HR/Benefits administration is a plus
  • Experience working with multiple HRIS systems is preferred
