Senior HR Partner - Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse
For candidates located in the Rochester area, this is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in our Fairport office or onsite supporting clients. Candidates located in the Buffalo or Syracuse areas may work remotely but must be willing and able to travel regularly to client sites and attend in-person meetings throughout the region as business needs require.
The Senior HR Partner serves as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients, providing strategic and day-to-day HR guidance that helps organizations achieve their business goals. As the primary point of contact for assigned clients, this role develops strong partnerships, delivers exceptional service, and leads HR initiatives that drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and long-term business success.
This senior-level consulting role supports clients across all areas of human resources, including but not limited to recruiting and hiring, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, employment law compliance, organizational development, leadership development, executive and manager coaching, and workplace investigations.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional with exceptional consulting, project management, coaching/mentoring, and relationship-building skills, demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws, and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of HR management, consulting, or leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law and HR best practices
- Workplace investigation experience strongly preferred
- Leadership training facilitation and executive/manager coaching experience strongly preferred
- Experience providing HR consulting services to multiple organizations or clients preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and influence business outcomes
- Excellent communication, presentation, consulting, and project management skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing others
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business technology platforms
Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 annually.
