HR Works is partnering with a manufacturing client in Buffalo, NY to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner. This role will be instrumental in driving HR initiatives that align with organizational goals and support overall business success.

Responsibilities:  

  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead recruitment strategies for skilled production workers, technical specialists, and engineers.
  • Advise on complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations.
  • Drive engagement, morale, and retention through strong relationship-building.
  • Provide performance management guidance and coaching to managers.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Use HR metrics and data to deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Support succession planning, restructures, and training initiatives.

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience (manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HR disciplines and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.
