This position requires a self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented individual responsible for sorting, inspecting, identifying, and organizing inbound inventory. This is a production focused position that emphasizes urgency without sacrificing the high-quality standards established. This individual will work as a team with the Asset Recovery Team and/or Order Processing Teams to facilitate the efficient receipt, storage, and maintenance of networking and telecommunications equipment for processing. Additionally, this position will disassemble equipment for the purposes of asset recovery and parts reclamation. Meticulous creation and maintenance of detailed physical and electronic records is critical. Excellent communication skills are needed to collaborate with numerous roles and departments working together as a team to meet organizational objectives and our CORE values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Receive inbound shipments and verify products against purchase orders, packing slips, manifests, and internal receiving documentation.

· Unload, sort, identify, and process incoming networking, telecommunications, data center, and related equipment in accordance with company procedures.

· Perform detailed visual and physical inspections to verify product identity, part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, requirements, and overall condition.

· Conduct quality control evaluations to ensure products meet company standards for accuracy, completeness, functionality, and cosmetic condition.

· Identify, document, and escalate discrepancies, damage, missing components, labeling issues, or other quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.

· Record inspection findings, product attributes, and inventory information accurately within company systems and databases.

· Apply inventory labels, and other identification methods as required.

· Stage inventory in designated warehouse locations while maintaining proper organization, traceability, and inventory control.

· Perform final quality verification of outbound shipments to ensure order accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer specifications.

· Maintain accurate inventory locations and support inventory initiatives throughout the warehouse.

· Operate material handling equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts, carts, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as authorized.

· Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving, inspection, staging, and fulfillment work areas.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve receiving, inspection, quality, inventory, and fulfillment processes.

· Adhere to all company safety policies, quality standards, operational procedures, and customer requirements.

· Perform other warehouse, inventory, quality control, and fulfillment duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

· Experience with using ERP’s or other inventory management systems is required.

· Experience working in a warehouse is required.

· Experience working in inventory control is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection are required for certain activities and/or areas.

This role operates in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with rare exposure to airborne dust, moderate noise levels and seasonal environmental conditions for heating/cooling.
