HR Works is currently recruiting for a Payroll & HRAS Administrator based out of our Fairport, NY location.
This role manages client relationships and delivers end-to-end payroll and HR administration services. This role serves as the primary client contact and ensures accurate payroll processing, compliance, and high-quality service across benefits, leave, and HR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients
- Serve as the main point of contact, handling inquiries and resolving issues
- Manage client processes, documentation, and ongoing service delivery
- Support benefits, leave administration (FMLA, ADA, disability), and open enrollment
- Conduct audits, ensure compliance, and reconcile carrier invoices
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide process improvements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years payroll processing experience; 5+ years related HR experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of benefits and/or leave administration
- Experience with ADP (Paylocity/Paychex a plus)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
